Russo & Weinberg
Adi Weinberg a singer and songwriter and Erez Russo musical producer, composer, songwriter and guitarist of Israeli successful rock band "Giraffot".
Russo & Weinberg’s musical connection is strong; it began when Adi and Erez first met years ago by chance. Adi was a bartender who sang while serving drinks and Erez was a “regular” at the bar. They quickly learned that they’re both musicians. Adi was just starting and Erez was already a very experienced musician. Adi mentioned to Erez that she would love to become more serious in music and work on materials and Erez gave her idea a try. They connected immediately - It was the seed that grew into a strong musical friendship. They found their musical path - together.
Their creativity started to flow and their journey towards creating and performing began.
They have been performing live continuously since 2012 - as a duo and with a band - all over Israel in small and large venues, festivals and fashion shows..
Their debut album came out in August 2015. The music is a mix of folk, pop, with a touch of country music. The lyrics are inspired by their personal life experiences and have a darker deeper tinge to them than expected of most love or pop songs.6
The songs’ structures are based on R×¥×£,.
9,usso’s acoustic guitar finger style picking in standard and alternate tunings, accompanied by electric guitars, bass, drums, piano, violin, glockenspiel, strings, brass and subtle electronic embellishments - all in support of the singing, vocals and texts.
Two singles from the album - All this Love and Bringing you Down have been played numerous times daily on Galgalatz (the major radio station in Israel) and are played on various other radio stations and music channels (Channel 24 and on MTV Israel)
Several of their songs have been used on television commercial campaigns for Castro (major Israel fashion brand) featuring international model/ actress Gal Gadot.
“There is nothing quite like the joy in the experience of seeing fans come to our shows in so many different venues, diving with us into the songs, sounds, texts and everything in between...
Our next step is to take our music and expose it to new audiences around the world”
- Russo & Weinberg
